Elder Owens' Guatemalan Mission

September 27, 2023 I kind of haven't been writing a lot of these, and I forgot how I did these before, but I guess we'll try. Really not anything new. I'm not sick. Ah, I've been teaching myself how to cook. My comp says he appreciates it so I'd say that's a win. I've gotten way better at my morning routine. Night routine's always been rougher but one thing at a time. We've got some people who are progressing for the first time since I whitewashed this place with my other comp 2 months ago. We're a little more tight knit with the ward, and getting better. Another win. Kinda chillin. Officially about 7 months left. Almost got my sister mission in the bag. So that's cool. Times just flying by way to fast, but I guess that means you're doing it right, right? I'm gonna go with that. Anyways, hey, this week is general conference, super pumped about it, you should watch it too. Don't know what it is? Look for your friendly neighborhood ...

September 20, 2023 - No email: Pictures are Zone Conference and getting vaccinated for Rabies...it's running rampant in Guatemala.

September 13, 2023 Well, as the title suggests, this week's been a little different. Had emergency transfers and I'm back in Piedra Parada with Elder McKinlay from Utah. He's got two weeks in field, so we're slowly kicking him into gear  . Honestly, not much to share... I'd just like to give thanks to those who've helped support me in my life. And more than anything to my Father in Heaven for such wonderful people. For such, I've chosen to wrestle everyday, despite my imperfections and personal trails, to try and be a light in even one person's life everyday.
