Week 72 - 7 Months Left

I kind of haven't been writing a lot of these, and I forgot how I did these before, but I guess we'll try. Really not anything new. I'm not sick. Ah, I've been teaching myself how to cook. My comp says he appreciates it so I'd say that's a win. I've gotten way better at my morning routine. Night routine's always been rougher but one thing at a time. We've got some people who are progressing for the first time since I whitewashed this place with my other comp 2 months ago. We're a little more tight knit with the ward, and getting better. Another win. Kinda chillin. Officially about 7 months left. Almost got my sister mission in the bag. So that's cool. Times just flying by way to fast, but I guess that means you're doing it right, right? I'm gonna go with that.


Anyways, hey, this week is general conference, super pumped about it, you should watch it too. Don't know what it is? Look for your friendly neighborhood missionaries, they honestly just wanna help out, ask em a question or two, you'll make their day. They make a lot of sacrifices to be where they're at.

October 12, 2023 For this week I thought I'd share something I wrote in my journal this week. "October 9, 2023      "Right as I'm ready to get everything up and running, working like crazy, all that. Of course I get sick... again... I'm so tired of being sick. I've been more sick physically here on the mission than any other time in my life. And you would think it's some of the most precious time. I'm working on trying to have a constant connection with Christ, my faith & willingness to act upon spiritual impressions. Week 65

August 9, 2023 So I'm not sick anymore... not very sick... for now... I'm doing a little better. We were finally able to do normal work Monday and yesterday, and that helped a lot. I've been learning a lot, so that's been nice. It's just kinda been... I don't know.. difficult I guess. Not like difficult, quite the opposite really, I've gotten a descent grip on everything. Obviously I don't know everything, and there's always things I can improve on. Everyone I've come to know is going home, and now I'm one of the older guys, and I can't explain how fast the days are going by. I've been working to push myself everyday, to go the extra mile, to be especially sensative to the spirit, to keep strengthening my weaknesses, to submit myself to the Lord's will, to keep changing small things to be better. Week 40: 9 Months!

February 15, 2023 I've officially served half of a sisters mission. Thing is that I'm not a sister.  Last week I said I wasn't planning on writing the next few weeks but yesterday I changed my mind. To start off, we put two people on date to be baptized  . They're sisters and their whole family is awesome, they plan to be baptized on March 7, which is transfer day  . So we'll see if I'll be here for that or not, but I really hope so.
