Semana 11?
July 27, 2022
I think its week 11 but I'm not %100 sure. Its easy to loose track of time when you're busy 24/7. Jeez lets see what's happened these past two weeks. So sometime not last week but the week before we did service for a Hermano Castillo. We helped him collect some tin sheets from outside his house on this super steep hill, and then we helped him dig out and clean part of his basement. Super fun, love service projects. Reminds me of home working with my homie. All the elders from our district came to our casa last pday and we hung out and played table games here. Pretty relaxing and fun. We had a zone council last week and that was super good. We talked about integrating family search and temple work into our teaching, so we are in the process of working more with members and teaching them how they can do missionary work both for people here and on the other side of the veil. Super perfect timing because people here recently haven't been interested or cared to listen to our messages. The impresion that I got is that at this point in time, we can effectively do more work for those on the other side of the veil than we can here. Which is crazy to think about, how we learn that in the last days the hearts of men will fail them, and would let fear drive them, which is something we are seeing with church attendance. Nobody wants to come to church cuz they're scared of Covid. . Bruh. Not super sure how to work with that right now. But the scriptures say fear not, but have faith, so that's what I've been trying to teach. But, it is a fulfilment of scripture, and all that has been prophesied will come to pass. I was reading in 3rd Nephi when Samuel the Lamanite prophesied of the coming of Christ and he was like: here are the signs. The people said, naw, wont happen. Then guess what. IT HAPPENED. And the people were like, oh crap. Don't be those people. Christ lives and will come again. Don't procrastinate the day of your repentance, because by then, it will be too late, and how great will be your sorrow. Sorry for the lazy terminology but I'm just exhausted. These past few days have been tiring. I've been waking up in a funky mood but as i focus on helping others these feelings go away, which is a huge blessing. But still pretty tired throughout the day. But oh well. One day at a time. It be like that sometimes. We had a mision pday today, which was pretty cool. All the misionaries from the mision showed up and we played games and had a small devotional; super good. But for those of you who know me; I am not a social person. I'll leave that as it is. Anyways, my brain is fried (imagine if they spoke Spanish in Guatemala, that'd be tough) so I'll send some pictures. I got a bunch this time.
